That concert was so amazing an I’m so happy and honored I got the chance to review it. The Panic At The Disco show was really good. It just prooved how much talent the band has, I know a lot of people really actually hate Panic At The Disco because there posers but that’s okay that they think that because most of them arent professnial music critiquers anyway.

It was so much fun going to the concert and it was awesome doing a review on it, I got to relive the whole night again and that was great. Having to describe every detail was just so easy, I could just see the whole over again playing back in my head. I’m very ecxited to see if it gets in the newspaper. I hope it does!!

with all the motives to be green many people just are not making the step, so as an incentive the City Of Miami Beach in its goal of making Miami Beach a ‘green’ city has made the idea of the Hybrid Parking permit called the HYBRID/ILEV PARKING Permit Plan.

This article was a huge strugle for me. I’m almost sure it wont get above a “C” so I’ll try to make the reflection good. I am very interested in Hybrid cars and alternitive fuels so this article was a match but my problem is that I couldn’t get quotes so the article was a disaster. I think the Hybrid Parking permits are a great idea but I also think they shouldn’t be on a first come first serve basis and they should be free.

Hybrid Cars are so expensive and don’t even get the BEST fuel economy and gas mileage. If they enhance the Hybrid/ILEV Parking Plan a lot more people will deffinatly be driving Hybrids and Low addmission cars.

Ticket scanners waited at the door ready to spring at the sign of the first fan, a never ending line of people waiting to buy a t-shirt filled the lobby made it impossible for others to slip by to get to their seats. The auditorium gradually became fuller and noisier, shout outs ran rampant across the projector and then it stopped and the roar of teenage girls silently came to a halt.

Three bands came before the headliner and left as the fans quivered in angst. Microphones engulfed with flowery vines found their way to the stage with the help of roadies but where was the rest of equipment?..Then Brendan Urie and Ryan Ross came out clapping their hands to the beat of We’re So Starving and then the crowds eyes widened as the theatrical apple red curtain came up revealing the drums , piano and a large projector displaying quirky cartoons to match the lyrics.

Panic At The Disco was stripped down, different from their mold of velvet vests and popping out of pianos, instead of a flamboyant guitar Brendan usually has, he held an acoustic guitar and for once the Panic At The Disco weren’t so panicked!

Their preformance consisted of overly played hits such as I Write Sins Not Tragedies and the new hit favorite Nine In The Afternoon. Long time Panic At The Disco fans can see their growth over the years. Panic At The Disco really has changed, the music was always stellar on the CD and they always had great stage presence and a dramatic look, but live the talent wasn’t there. So, the concert confirmed to Panic At The Disco fans their awesomeness.

Panic At The Disco played for a solid hour and thirty minutes mixing in songs from the new album and old. Both albums have such a diversified song selection it was like a black and white cookie from two different sides of the color spectrum, but one big great delicious melody.

Like all fans we beckoned for more but the boys could only stay for so long with their plans of going to the beach after the show. With a bittersweet ending they closed acoustically with a bow. Panic At The Disco in the Honda Civic Tour was a great and pure proof that Panic At The Disco will be sticking around for a long time.

so wheew now i’m done! i REALLY actually liked writing this article, it wasnt totally a drag and it wasnt like a man hunt to firgure out what classes people are in and than pull ‘em out of class. So this article was like a walk in a park, a very scenic nice walk in the park. Writing this article was very well pleasnt because I actually really know my stuff about this. It still had its challenges but it was fun. I’m good with music so it was I felt really confident in doing this, like i could lead someone to buy this cd and entertain someone else for a day!

Another thing that was really awesome about this cd is that it was diversafied i like all types of music so this wasn really a perfect peice to the puzzle, it fit perfect with my mentality. I really hope someone else can jam out to this album and be like whoa thanks writer,i just found my new fave cd. That migjt not happen but whatever…i really hope it gets in the newspaper!!!!!

The Crunk Punk Rennisance

Punk Goes Crunk On April 8th 2008, a master mind or melting pot of music was released. Similar to its sister series before it such as Punk Goes Pop and Punk Goes Acoustic, the Punk Goes series is known for putting an alternative cover on the many genres that entertain the world! Punk Goes Crunk has not only the catchy title in its favor, it is diversified with different kinds of Hip/Hop (crunking music) from 80’s Skee Low’s I Wish to most recent best sellers such as Rihanna’s Umbrella. The album is defiantly not only a completion of awesome cover songs but a bridge like their ancestors Aerosmith and Run DMC, trying to close the gap between the genres, and showing that all music is music not another thing to fight about.

The album has romantic re dos of Umbrella sung in a laid back acoustic love style by All Time Low and ironically I Wanna Love You originally done by Akon better known for its sexy music video of dancers on poles and Akon hollering from a side line . Some songs you can’t even recognize such as Put Yo Hood Up (Lil John) re done by Set Your Goals and Still Fly (Big Tymers) re done by The Devil Wears Prada. The irony in some of these songs are magnified times a million sung in slower style the little things are really noticeable like when Jordan Pundik (lead singer of New Found Glory) belts out “Although I am black and proud Problems got me pessimistic” although he’s white. But unlike other bands some bands really know how to pick their songs like Say Anything singing Got Your Money originally sung by Ol’ Dirty Bastard who recently passed away in 2004, Say Anything is known for their sexually driven music through estranged lyrics and Max Bemis’s (lead singer of Say Anything) quirky voice and corny music. Another great coincidence or perfect song choice was The Secret Handshake singing I Wish (originally done by Skee Low), the soloist (whose birth name is Luis Dubuc) of The Secret handshake is identified for his cubby short stature, a perfect match to the lyrics Skee Low rap “I Wish I Was A Little Bit Taller I Wish I Was Ballah” and a mentality of a 13 year old boy at the peak of puberty on the edge of funny young child and horny teen.

It’s a pretty big jump for the Punk Goes series. Punk Goes Crunk is a huge jump from the norm, the Punk Goes series is known for staying in their league, no one’s much ever heard of a huge fude between punk bands and acoustic bands. So with this time around the Punk Goes team took a deep breath and just did it. Now add that and with the factor of diehard fan and you’ve got a bestseller. Punk Goes Crunk might not be as popularized as anticipated but in the long run things defiantly worked out. Although some of the songs have lost their originality through the process others are just getting started in the rebirth.
